About Douglas Healy
After completing a BS in business administration from Liberty University, attorney Douglas Healy earned a JD from the University of Arkansas School of Law. Douglas Healy began his legal career as an advisor for Duncan & Pierce, a firm specializing in small business, and went on to assist the Greene County Prosecuting Attorney in Springfield, Missouri.
As a senior assistant prosecutor, he completed training conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and the National Association of District Attorneys. He also handled bench and jury trials on behalf of the state of Missouri.
He later moved to Jefferson City to take on a role as the chief of staff for the chairman of the Missouri Public Service Commission. In this position, he specialized in matters related to utility and energy law and provided legal opinions and policy advice. In 2006, he co-founded the reputable Healy Law Offices, which focuses on legal proceedings involving energy generation and transmission.
